1. Developing skills to engage in and become valued members of the LGBTIQ, gender and sexually diverse community. 2. Learning skills to complete activities as independently as possible, highlighting aspects such as team work, respect, autonomy and good sportsmanship. 3. Developing the skills required to listen to peers, hear their stories, advocating for each other and maintaining individual rights in accordance to the Human Charter of Human Rights.

This project aims to work towards an individual’s rights, recreation and leisure options, valued status and advocacy to further strengthen its membership and engagement of existing and new key stakeholders within the LGBTIQ community - to work together to address barriers to inclusion for people with a disability who identify as LGBTIQ.
The project will enable the group to continue to cultivate relationships and partnerships, specifically with the Pride Centre, the Victorian Aids Council, Go West, local council, Joy FM, and other LGBTIQ groups and networks.
