Our project consists of 3 parts:
1, Build a unisex change-room primarily for female sporting amenity with an all purpose room for junior training, seminars & educational programs, aerobics/yoga, storage, first aid & office facility.

2, Refurbish Netball building. The current “shed” has no insulation, lining, floor covering. We plan to properly accommodate to a modern standard, also providing an alternative use of the building

3, Provide an enclosed playground for children of participants & general public with shade and soft-fall protection

Except for basic amenities, there are no female changerooms for sporting participants.
On training nights, junior netball players cannot walk to the main clubrooms by themselves due to traffic, poor lighting, personal safety and on game day players and spectators do not have toilet facilities nearby.

Our community is on Melbourne’s fringe, growing at 14% per annum on our population currently around 1000. To meet future needs from sports and activities it’s imperative that we provide for the community.

Flow on affects to all local clubs, particularly cricket, football, netball and tennis. Trust you acknowledge our need for this grant.
