The Wellbeing Space will be utilised by NSC students (both individually and in small groups) under the direction of the Student Wellbeing team and Prefects. It will be used to house Breakfast club, host Wellbeing Support Groups and Mentor/Mentorship programs, lunchtime activities (i.e. games club, craft club) and provide a functional space for community programs. The funding is needed to transform an old uniform shop; removal of existing cabinets, re-painting, carpet, plumbing and furnishings. The funds will also incorporate a Wellbeing garden, to be maintained by NSC and Mullum Primary School students.

A number of community groups would have access to the Wellbeing Space. Maroondah City Council Youth Services will be running Year 9 programs, and as will North Ringwood Uniting Church and Ringwood Community Church (for a twice weekly Breakfast club and Wellbeing support groups). NSC are hoping to involve external providers (Men's Shed, Ringwood Lions Club, Ringwood Rotary and Maroondah Council) to engage with disengaged students to provide a practical learning experience, with the aim to utilise the space for planning/production, and create the Wellbeing Garden. NSC groups (such as parent/staff, NSC Respectful Relationships Committee) will also use the space.

A very worthy project that would benefit so many young adults and children.
A space that has so much potential and yet at the moment is just wasted.

A very worthwhile community project that will not only benefit Norwood secondary students, but also Mullum primary students and other community groups - every vote is important!
