North West Health Community Expo

This project will implement a Health Community Expo that will be open to everyone in our rich and culturally diverse community and it will raise awareness of holistic health approaches. It will be an inclusive event which educates both young and old, people with able bodies and those with disabilities, as well as their carers. Professional health providers will participate in the expo and include information and workshops on various topics which promote healthier more active lifestyles. There will be a number of activities throughout the day including guest speakers to discuss their area of expertise within the health sector.

This project will benefit the community by empowering people to take initiative for their own health and consider not just their physical health but also their mental and emotional wellbeing. The expo will provide essential health information and expertise which can lead to a healthier more active community. Encouraging people to interact with local health professionals can foster greater understanding and knowledge within the community. Additionally it will create connections between residents in the local community. This event can also be a great networking opportunity for like-minded people and businesses mainly within the City of Melbourne.
