This facility realy needs some improvement. I admire how they survived so many years. I did not use it,(yung 70th) but I value this facility as great place for yung and mature people.

Wyndham BMX Club operates from Wyndham BMX Track in the City of Wyndham. We run regular club races monthly, training/gate practice twice each week and hold an Open BMX Victoria race event annually each year. This project will provide a new score shed and storage garage for Wyndham BMX members, officials and riders for all of these events and also for BMX Australia and Victoria officials and riders at our open race meets too. Wyndham BMX club currently have 100 members ranging from the ages of 3 to 50+. Our aim is to upgrade the facility for all.
Wyndham BMX Club and Track requires a brand new Score Shed and Storage Garage for their shared use track in the City of Wyndham. Currently our officials and members operate out of cold, dark old shipping containers for scoring and storage. To build a brand new Score Shed and Finish Hut would greatly improve the facility for all and provide a more operable facility for all members, officials, riders and for the public as this is a shared space in the City of Wyndham. This project will provide an updated and forever positive image at the Wyndham BMX Track also.

Better facilities make better sporting experience.
The more enjoyable sporting experience the more people will do the sport. Children of Wyndham don't need to be bored, they can do BMX.
Bmx is suitable sport for a whole family.

This will provide a more secure and weatherproof area for the Club to store its items. Scoring and registration officials will have a safer, better view of the track and they will be covered from the elements.
This facility really needs a fixed building to address the growing needs of the expanding Club.

A great and well deserved project for the Wyndham Warriors bmx club to update from a shipping container to a purpose built finish Line building.
The club has had to work from a shipping container for over 10 years and are currently the only Wyndham club to still have a container as a sports building.

The Club is a very worthy recipient of such funding. The current setup is not at all appropriate for a club who is hosting events both at a State and National level. Given the amount of money being spent in the area on regeneration and state of the art sporting facilities it's only right that this facility receive the funding and support it desperately needs.
