New Children's Playground in Balmoral

The Balmoral Recreation Reserve is in the process of raising funds to build a new Community Complex at the Reserve in Balmoral. The community has already raised over $350,000 towards this project. We have not included a playground in the costings for this project due to the cost of the building process. Pick my Project is a great avenue to try and raise the extra funds needed to construct an additional children's playground area. Our completed project will be a multipurpose, multi-use venue for all ages. Children will be able to play safely in a protected area.

A new playground is so badly needed at the Balmoral Recreation Reserve. There is currently no play area for the children. They improvise using hay bales, dead tree logs, scrub and cattle sheds. This is quite a dangerous play area for small children especially during the football-netball season. During this season we have large crowds of over 300 people attending, all driving vehicles. A safe, fenced play area will help parents to feel their children are protected. The Balmoral Rec Reserve has 11 other user groups who would also utilise the new playground throughout the year.
