Netball Court

Natimuk United Football Netball Club (NUFNC) is the heart and soul of our community. With 70 netballers and one netball court, there is not enough space to train to the best of our ability, which is why we are seeking funding for another netball court.

The new court would have the same surface, and be built next to, the existing court at the Natimuk Showgrounds. The court will remain open and easily accessible to the community all year round.

NUFNC currently have seven netball teams registered. Forty senior ladies train on one court. Buddy training sessions, all 70 players train at once. Drills become harder to put into practice, people wait so long to participate that they get cold and more susceptible to injury. Having a second court, means we can train more effectively and game days will be more efficient, which will ensure the longevity of keeping our junior and senior netballers.

NUFNC is vital to our town. It’s not only the health and fitness benefits from playing sport, but the community spirit the club enables.
