A design workshop and series of festive events (musical mud stomps) held at Austin Crescent Reserve will blend the construction sciences and the performing arts. A construction team will work with artists to engage local participants, including those from neighbouring schools and community groups, to design a structure. They will then mix natural earthen masonry materials with bare feet to the sounds of live ensemble music during the warm weather. The "mud" mixtures are formed into building blocks, renders and finishes that are used to build and sculpt the walls of the structure envisaged by the community.

Community members from nearby schools and groups will gain experiences that display strength in numbers - co-creating a one of kind, artistic, functional structure. They will gain a strong sense of ownership in the structure created and of the unique all-inclusive process for creating it. Local artists will be recognised for their contributions towards creating the structure. Educational opportunities will be extracted out of the project. Youth will be given leadership positions in the project to acquire work-like experiences and various skills. The structure itself will be something the community will be proud of.
