This is a community festival organised by the Roxburgh Park and Epping Sinhala faculties of the Victorian School of Languages and is open to other cultural groups in the area such as Malayalam, Tamil and Greek.

The festival will showcase the talents of current Sinhala learners and various Sri Lankan and other cultural groups in the area through dancing, drama, singing, instrumental music performances, etc. There will be food, art & craft stalls providing the opportunities to the attendees to experience a glimpse of other cultures and blend in the multicultural community living in the northern suburbs.

The main objective of this event is to enhance inter-cultural harmony by providing the Sri Lankan children, youth, parents and elders to actively blending in with other cultures in the area. It provide Sri Lankan youth living in Melbourne to work with talented senior members of the Sri Lankan community to improve their skills and to show their talents to the wider community. At the same time, it provides the opportunity to actively interact with other cultures, build friendships and create partnerships. This is very important to newly migrant families as it will enhance community harmony via cultural bonds.
