A zero-waste green event coordinated by Mornington Peninsula Permaculture Network in partnership with Mornington Peninsula Shire.
Day 1: Local community grassroots organisations to participate in a forum to facilitate cross-pollination of resources and ideas, identify the gaps, build connections, and share ideas and resources, to improve community connections, service delivery and awareness.
Day 2: A public expo showcasing local grassroots organisations, with displays and workshops from expert facilitators on sustainability and permaculture topics.
A highlight of the event is a presentation by David Holmgren, co-originator of Permaculture, and author of "Retrosuburbia - the downshifter's guide to a resilient future."

There are many local grassroots organisations doing excellent work, mostly by volunteers. By collaborating and sharing resources we can multiply the benefits across the community to advance the critical message of sustainability and action on climate change.

The public expo showcases the work of vital local groups and projects. Participate in a workshop program presented by experts in the field of sustainability and permaculture.
Workshop topics may include: Indigenous bush foods, poultry keeping, food security, permaculture design strategies, backyard vegie gardens, composting and soil health, energy efficient building and zero-waste living.
Entertainment and children's activities running throughout the day.
