Mobile Laundry, Shower & Haircut

This project is intended for homeless people. It involves the setting up and implementation of a mobile laundry van that will have washing machines and a shower facility in-built within the van. This van will service Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs around Dandenong and Frankston areas and possibly further depending upon the demand and need. A volunteer, qualified and experienced Hairdresser will provide haircuts on a fortnightly/monthly basis to the homeless people while their clothes gets washed.

Whilst other organisations do provide food for the homeless, it is often noticed that these people do not get the hygiene facilities like shower and clean clothes. This project promotes this change by offering the facility of a mobile van that will reach the homeless. Being in a cleaner state will definitely make an impact on the lives of these people and can help their mental state and positivity.
