The major costs associated with the project are… Item 1, 8 times $2600 to hire the Lost Dogs Home Desexing van. It is a fully-equipped mobile vet surgery * Capacity for up to 24 cats desexing per day * Staffed by an experienced vet team * Booking, admin and marketing support provided * Located on-site in the municipality for the duration

Not often does 2nd Chance Cat Rescue have the chance to offer low-cost cat desexing to residents. We are a local, not-for-profit cat rescue group. Since 2011, we have rehomed more than 2000 cats. Our mission is to find homes for stray cats and raise community awareness of the cat over-population problem. We would use the money to pay for the Lost Dogs Home mobile pet care van to operate locally. Securing this funding would also help educate the community on the importance of desexing cats.

They do a fantastic job and give so many kittens and cats the opportunity of a 2nd chance to find their furever homes. By providing a service and knowledge of how to care for your furbabies will help prevent any further kittens and cats from suffering.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a dedicated group of volunteers who only want the best or their fur babies. With all their efforts there are still far too many cats not desexed and far too many kittens born to humans who dont want to take responsibility for the kittens they let their cats have. Desexing and education is the only way to help stop this massive problem
