This would really open up our beautiful area to the rest of the world - great tourist benefits as well as jobs and growth!

A logical position for these activities, wonderful scenery, landscape, and total environment creating a diverse and active occupational goal for local residents, assisting with the strengthening of the community.

A no brainer really..incredible landscape, terrific scenery, nature’s treadmill and a tourist gateway.

A great project to enhance and levarage off the sealing of the Great Alpine Way and the Mt Bike users who are already at Falls Creek. ie this will entice them to turn left rather than right onto the Omeo Hwy, not to mention the existing bike enthusiasts from Albury/Wodong

This would give so many people a healthy opportunity to experience the nature and beauty of this area

This area is an ideal location for a Mountain Bike Project. A great
activity which the whole family can enjoy, something visitors to
the valley would utilise.

The mountain bike riders that have swarmed to Derby have changed the entire area in so many positive ways. The most exciting thing was that in their area, young people who were formerly unexcited by their local area were constantly told by visitors how lucky they were to live in such a pristine environment - and they became proud residents, many of whom stayed on in the area taking advantage of the many new employment opportunities. Mountain bikers are generally people with a significant amount of disposable income, and they spend this on local accommodation, food and attractions. So many positives to this plan - Great idea!

This mountain bike project will be a great addition to health and leisure activities in the Mitta valley for locals and visitors alike. The benefits will be felt by all.

A logical choice for such a beautiful area. The bush around Mitta is completely under utilised, and a mountain biking park would provide a perfect medium for getting people to the town, to stay at the town, and getting kids and families off their PlayStations and out into our great outdoors. Tathra in NSW do this so well. You wouldn’t know the trails exist unless you go looking, and it is a pristine mountain biking Mecca.

Go team! This project has the potential to create the foundation for a much more aware and engaged community, experiencing and valuing our unique landscape and ecological jewels.

This is a perfect site for mountain bikes and most other leisure activities

Mountain Bike riders have said Mitta Mitta is perfectly placed and offers fabulous scenery and the type of rides that would draw riders from around the world. They compared it to Derby in Tasmania and said 'build it and they will come.'
Mountain Bike riders are the type of tourism we need, they are quiet and cashed up and looking for meals and accommodation - all of which we can offer.
We are so lucky, we have lakes and rivers and creeks that run all year round. We have fabulous views of snow capped Bogong and trails that lead down to ferny gully's and clear mountain streams. There's even a dream of making an epic trail between Mitta Mitta and Dartmouth which will offer a world class ride and be a life blood boost to our small communities.
Eskdale, Mitta Mitta and Dartmouth are delightful little towns that lead the way into the Mitta Valley, they and their communities will benefit in the best way possible from the development of these Mountain Bike trails.
