Melville Oval Scoreboard

The Hamilton Kangaroos FNC would like to upgrade its current unreliable scoreboard to a modern video scoreboard. Upgrading this scoreboard would allow more users to use it for a variety of reasons. A major focus will be to encourage people to use this green space for non-sporting activities, such as outdoor cinemas. The footy club can also display educational videos on it for Reconciliation Day, Gay Pride Day, ANZAC Day, Good Friday Appeal and Cancer awareness - as we have themed matches to promote equality, acceptance and understanding within our Club and community.

By introducing a video scoreboard to Melville Oval will open up more green space to the community, which is situated in the centre of town. It will allow the community to host more events at Melville Oval such as a family outdoor cinema, watching highlights of children's sports, a screen for concerts, broadcasting emergency advice / warnings during bushfire season and other emergency events.
Its mainly be used by mens football, junior boys football, junior girls football, VFLW football, representative football, all-abilities football, mens cricket, junior boys cricket, junior girls cricket, women's cricket, representative cricket, masters cricket.
