Melrose Primary School, Wodonga, is a school that combines school wide values of Motivation, Thinking, Courage and Empathy, to achieve academic excellence with emotional intelligence. For over ten years we have been leading the way in developing programs that foster personal skills and social growth in our students. Our Emotional Intelligence (EQ) program is an ethos that underpins all learning.
The Emotional Intelligence (EQ) motto, Educating Hearts and Minds, is supported by vision statements that the project will assist our learning community to achieve:
excellence in teaching and learning;
professional leadership;
positive climate for learning;
community engagement in learning.

Melrose Primary School, Out of School Hours and Vacation Care toilets and buildings are an innovative design with all classrooms under one roof surrounding a central library, art room and multipurpose room.
Although the buildings have been upgraded over the past 35 years, this is not the case for the boys and girls toilet blocks.
A toilet upgrade will allow the students and the community to have 2018 standard facilities to assist the academic, social and emotional growth of the Melrose learning community.

Our toilets need an upgrade!!!! They were built in the seventies and our students deserve modern facilities so they feel it is okay to use the toilets at school!!!!!

Kids shouldn't be in pain or get sick due to avoiding toilets that are in poor condition and don't allow privacy

These toilets are still the same as when i started in 1984! Time to bring them up to date. Will make it a lot nicer for the children who do not like to use them in there current state!

My first pick for sure they really do need to be updated im almost 40 and went to the school when i was little, and the sad thing is they still look the same as back then as to now which really is not something you want to see nowdays.
They are used everyday by so many young children which yes can sometime make messes it doesnt mean they should have to use an area that looks very inviting.
Even thought they are cleaned all the time they dont look it, it really is time they were updated i seen better paint work in public toilets at parks
