Maryborough Netball Facilities Upgrade

Located in Maryborough's premier recreational precinct, Princes Park, our netball facilities are open to the general public and three football and netball clubs who regularly utilise the facility. This project is the first of a three stage upgrade. Stage One focuses on the safety of the user groups and includes resurfacing of the netball court to rectify the damage caused by the nuisance Corella's. This stage would also include an upgrade to the lighting facilities to meet the standards required to play outdoor netball. Approximately 1500 annual users will benefit from this upgrade.

The new surface and upgraded lighting will bring increased additional opportunities for netball participation and will improve the facility for the hundreds of netball users who utilise this facility. This upgrade will also open up possibilities of hosting night series netball, representative games and clinics which will see a positive financial and participation impact for the clubs and the wider community of Maryborough.
