Mallee Lamb & Wool project

Due to changes in the economics of sheep production and ongoing issues with continuous cropping,which has been the mainstay of Mallee farming systems,there is now a clear need for the next generation of farmers to upskill with cutting edge technology in lamb & wool production, key components of this are low labour inputs and high technology. The project aims to educate the next generation of farmers.

This project brings together next generation farmers to create networks and knowledge sharing which is essential in an isolated area such as ours.
