Mallacoota Skate Park will provide an environment for local children and visitors to skate safely in a world class facility. It will help enable Mallacoota to become a thriving, vibrant and liveable town. It is a short term priority of the Mallacoota Recreation Reserve Master Plan, and when completed will be a fantastic asset for visitors to Mallacoota. Numbers in Mallacoota grow exponentially in the summer and the current facility is inadequate, dilapidated and dangerous. Please help our kids to restore pride in our town and to find a great outlet through skating, carving and ripping it up!
It will provide the locals and visitors, children and grommets, with a healthy recreational pursuit and a clean healthy and quiet option for when the surf is no good. It will be a safe and viable community facility, encourage tourism, and support the local economy. Mallacoota desperately needs this upgrade. Our youth need this as the existing park is outdated and frankly quite dangerous. Do this for the kids of our community!

Skate parks are popular for all ages but Mallacoota Skate park is so old and dangerous that most kids cannot use it. We need a new park with a safe surface that can be used in both hot, cold and wet weather. A separate area for youngsters to learn how to skate would be a huge advantage.

The Coota skate park is so dangerous - come and check it out after rain - puddles and duck poo everywhere. Slippery and dangerous. Or come and check it out in the summer - metal and boiling and dangerous. The kids here have been waiting a long time for a new skate park - time for some action.

The existing park is so in need of some love, it seems every town has a recently upgraded skate park except Mallacoota - it is time to change this.
