A shipping container will be placed on a disused section of the pool facility. This will provide a mouse proof location to house all essential pool equipment, allowing pool users to participate in activities such as water aerobics, squad training and swimming lessons. The BBQ area next to the container will be paved and fixed up for school or community events, fundraisers and patron use. The fence will beautify the space by blocking off the view of disused land. Essential shade will be provided for all patrons in that area making the experience at the pool more pleasant.
The pool provides swimming lessons, squad training, water aerobics, fun nights, lap swimming, school swim program and triathlon training activities throughout the season. In our dry, hot climate it offers a place of relaxation, relief and fun for all community members. It encourages physical health, social health and promotes social connections. There is no room to store equipment and much was destroyed in a recent mouse plague. The shipping container addresses this issue and ensures activities continue. The BBQ provides a social hub and the opportunity to fundraise and support community events. Shade sails provide essential sun protection for patrons.

The pool is a great facility and very important to our community used by young and old. A great idea to continue keeping our recourses in good condition.
