We wish to replace the existing scoreboard for Lois Twohigs main oval so the members of north Dandenong can participate in organised sport. Both the lighting and scoreboard are over 30 years old and do not meet current standards.
Lois Twohig Reserve is the cornerstone of sport in North Dandenong, with tennis, cricket, football and soccer all using the facility. The main oval at Lois Twohig has an aging scoreboard which makes the facility substandard for the members who use the ground. As an area we are struggling to attract children to get outdoors and play more sport. We are working with AFL Victoria and Cricket Victoria to get more kids outdoors to play. We believe improving the facility will help encourage these kids to kick the footy or play some cricket.

Upgrade is much needed one and should attract more players and visitors to this awesome sporting venue. It’s all within the state Govt. vision to engage maximum local community members to promote social cohesion and well being. Highest recommendations !
