Let there be light

Moving existing lights to second football pitch, which currently only has lights on one side. Installation of lights on the main pitch. Our grounds are used by over 150 local players, as well as other community groups (Ethiopians, Eritreans, Pakistanis, Polish, etc...), as well as other local teams, who we allow use of our grounds, when their grounds are unable to be used. Key activities are sport, specifically football (soccer), but are used for a variety of other activities (kite flying, running, athletics, etc...)

Our project will enable the further involvement of more players, as it will mean the whole ground can be utilised in the shorter and darker winter months. Currently this area of the ground is not well lit and dangerous to play on. Having a new womens team, an 'all abilities' team, as well as more juniors than ever before, this would allow further players to be able to participate, stay healthy, be social and minimise injuries.
