LEO Donut Food Van

At the moment LEO's (junior Lions Club members) cook hot donuts at community events in a shade tent, this is unsafe. We would like to purchase a food van that will allow our youth group and LEO's to cook donuts and hot chips for monthly community markets and youth events in a safe environment. The van will provide a hygienic and safe mobile kitchen, where the young members can attend functions in a small remote community. This provides an opportunity for the members to gain food preparation and cooking skills, dealing with money, budgeting and marketing.

The community will benefit by the youth gaining the opportunity to raise funds to put back into the community needs. As a remote community, there are few facilities for the youth to gain skills that will assist them with employment. Being part of the food van will encourage community involvement in members.
