Our objective is to invest in quality early childhood development for children from birth to 6 years, to create better education, health, social and economic outcomes for the region. A total of 4 studio rooms will be established. These include;
i. Light Studio
ii. Living Organisms Studio
iii. Gross Motor Studio, and
iv. Fine Motor Studio
It is available for use by not only KCLC Childcare participants, but all Family Daycare, Childcare Centres, Schools and general public.
In Victoria 1 in 5 children are entering school vulnerable in 1 of the 5 domain areas from the Australian Early Development Census

There are many benefits this program plays. The Early Years Learning Studio will support families to develop their child’s understandings and assists children to develop their own interests and identities in enriched experiences unable to be provided at home. Each child that enters our Early Years Learning Studio rooms will leave with a sense of success, the ability to problem solve and a curiosity to learn, which will impact their future learning journey and future success in life. Families will not need to travel great distances for such a unique learning experience.
