The temple is the only existing occupant in Alira Estate Development project, Berwick. Once the BVV area is developed with open spaces, green areas and vehicle parking, it will become an appropriate community centre and a library for an ethnically diverse wider community.
It will give a peaceful, pleasing to eye appearance to people attending programmes at BVV, people passing by and also people living in the area.
BVV conducts two monthly meditation programmes for elderly and children.
The meditators can use the finished surface for mindfulness walking meditation sessions.
Children will perform outdoor cultural programmes without much inconvenience.

Much needed project for the community.
Very valuable important project.
Highly recommended. This is much needed for the temple.
My daughter is attending the language school. The ground becomes very muddy and miserable during rainy days. This project will definitely improve the safety for all the children.

All the best
It is very important religious place for the buddhists
A much needed project to the whole community!
The amount of traffic in and out of the premises have been increased dramatically during the last few years. If you consider the visitor’s demographics, you would realise that there is a large portion of children and elderly people among the community, mainly due to the children’s language school and the other community programmes conducted at the institute. In this context, constructing well-structured facilities at the premises will have an immense value, particularly considering public safety. The institution has also played a major role in building the spiritual life of many Victorians.
I wish all the very best to the organising committee for this wonderful project and for all future endeavours.
