The renovation would mean that the hall could be used by a growing number of community groups including facilities for youth and the disabled. Groups using the hall include: Kyabram Football Club, Knight’s Soccer Club, Kyabram Junior Football Group, Karate Groups, Little Athletics, the Kyabram Basketball Group, The Gift Fundraising Group, Dillmac Performing Arts Group and other community groups.
The hall is used for town meetings, fundraising balls, sporting activities, wedding expos, graduation ceremonies, Anzac Day ceremonies, award presentations, school and community theatre arts concerts and plays. Over 1,400 people use the hall each year.
Kyabram district community will benefit from the toilet upgrade to provide a safe and accessible meeting/function place. It will mean the hall is used regularly by community groups. If refurbishment is not achieved, then members of the community will not be able to use the hall due to OHS requirements.
This project will service Kyabram and district. Recently the following groups have used the hall from: Kyabram, Tongala, Stanhope, Girgarre, Shepparton and Echuca. The following sectors will be supported:
• Education
• Sport
• Families
• Individuals
• Disengaged Youth
• Health – support of cancer victims

Great idea, A much needed upgrade considering the Hall is used for a range of great community & school events. The toilets are well overdue for an overhaul.

Much needed upgrade to a vital piece of community facility.
Many school productions, debutant balls, year 12 graduations and other formal events not to forget all the sports activities that have occurred there.

The toilets at this facility are in desperate need of repair. The Hall is a brilliant facility not just for the School but for the town of Kyabram and beyond, it is much loved and utilised. The toilets, however, are broken and in a state of disrepair. Water is being wasted due to broken taps and there is a lack of privacy due to broken doors and their is serious risk to peoples health due to surfaces that have deteriorated being difficult to clean. This is a very worthy project to be considered for funding.

Love the way our college shares this venue with all the wider community but it is time for some love and upgrading to continue being such an iconic venue for all.

We use this facility for our charity Gift Ball as well as our annual showcase for over 200 children. They are in desperate need of a refurbishment

This much used community hall has served Kyabram so well for many, many years but it is now in need of repairs to the bathroom facilities and main hall.

Such a valuable resource for our town as well as the school. Really deserves an upgrade
