Korumburra Gun Club Facilitys Upgrade

The Korumburra Gun Club is heavily involved in promoting World Standard competition clay target shooting for Gippsland community from ages 12 and up and have been working with the Gippsland Sports Academy for the past 18 months to provide a first-class facility to train the next generation of clay target shooters. The club has been working hard to facilitate the requirements of these coaching clinics the best we can but our grounds & amenities are in desperate need of upgrading and this grant would allow us to build new family-friendly toilet and change rooms, concrete footpaths, sheltered seating.

The project will deliver a specialized all abilities access, disabled access and junior development sporting facility in regional Victoria. The facility consists of all clay target shooting disciplines including skeet, trap & sporting in order to provide maximum opportunity for participants from low socioeconomic settings such as the South Gippsland region. The facility upgrade would allow participants from all backgrounds to take part in the sport of clay target shooting in a safe and controlled environment, regardless of their age, special needs and ability.
