Kids Plus Sports Exchange Social Enterprise

The Kids Plus Sports Exchange is a social enterprise that will receive donated new and near new sporting equipment from the public, retailers, wholesalers and sporting clubs to sell at below market rates to the public. Proceeds from the social enterprise will be used to support various Kids Plus Foundation therapy related programs and initiatives. In addition, the social enterprise will provide supported volunteer workplace opportunities for community members and Kids Plus Foundation participants. Kids Plus Foundation specialises in providing therapy programs for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders such as cerebral palsy.

The Kids Plus Sports Exchange will benefit the community by offering new and near new sporting and recreational equipment to the public at significantly reduced costs. The cost of sporting equipment can be prohibitive for many families. The Sports Exchange will enable individuals and families to access affordable high quality sporting goods, and in doing so, encourage and promote participation and inclusion. Operating as a social enterprise, the Sports Exchange will also provide supported volunteer workplace opportunities, enabling individuals to be engaged and contribute to the community in which they live.
