Keeping the Beats moving!

The Sunbury Bluelight disco has been reaching out to young people for over 40 years, and now wants to continue this work by reaching out to secondary school students by offering training in how to DJ events professionally.

In order to allow us to be portable and flexible we require the purchase of a trailer to transport the DJ equipment and lighting from venue to venue and to store the equipment.

The trailer will be purpose built to protect all the equipment the youth will be using to train and DJ events.

With the purchase of the trailer and DJ gear we will be able to work with the youth of the local area and surrounds to create opportunities to teach them skills of how to DJ at events professionally.

This will be a significant upgrade for us, allowing our work with young people to expand; previously we have only ever DJ'd events from a laptop computer. This will also enable us to reach out to troubled and at-risk youth, providing them with mentoring and opportunities for work and further life skills, through them providing a service for primary aged school children.
