"Keeping it moving" is a project which will allow seniors to have fun and get active. The project is for seniors, especially people aged 55-65 who have begun retiring. It is a weekly dance class with a vibrant dance teacher who will teach various styles of dance such as Salsa and Tango. The class will be held at a local facility and will cater to people of all abilities. The class will enable seniors to become more connected to their community as twice a year there will be an event held for everyone to demonstrate what they have learnt.

The project will benefit the community by helping seniors to become more connected members of society. The class will build healthier habits and allow older people to get active in a stress free environment. Seniors will be able to socialise with each other and create strong friendships and connections in the community. Socialising will help prevent isolation in the at risk group and improve their mental health. Also, through listening to music from their childhood, they can bring out their inner child and feel young again. Most importantly, this project will allow seniors to relax and have fun.

This is an opportunity for people to come together locally and have fun whilst learning to dance and enjoy some good lad tunes. Get the foot tapping!

Any money spent for elderly are deserved ! As a small reward for their full life time contribution to society . This is one of the rewarding activity for them helping them still to enjoy life...
