Keep children active over winter

Installing flood lights on the oval will enable children and the wider community to continue to be active during winter. We are a junior soccer club with nearly 200 boys and girls who participate in weekend competitions. Training during the winter months is challenging due to the limited light. Flood lights would allow the teams to train at night and make the facility safer and available for the wider community to continue to be active during the winter months. Flood lights would enable recreational area to be used by the wider community at night all year round.

Flood lights will enable the children to continue to be active during the winter months and at night all year round. Lights will promote greater use of the oval and the surrounding walking tracks at night all year round. Installing lights will have the added benefit of making the oval and the surrounding areas safer for the children participating in sport and for the wider community who use the facilities to remain active during winter.
