Kangaroo Flat - a community to be proud of

Kangaroo Flat is a rapidly growing area which would benefit greatly from improved facilities and support services such as: a community garden to teach sustainability; a barbecue, picnic and stage area where family and community events can be held; well-appointed multi-purpose rooms for training and group activities (for example arts and crafts, group meetings, computer and budgeting classes, and play groups) and a safe enclosed play-space for children of all abilities. The current Kangaroo Flat Community House provides the ideal base upon which to build these facilities that will, in turn, strengthen our community.

Our mission is to promote sustainability, unity, empowerment and confidence within our whole community. We seek to do this through creating a safe and inviting space for the community to come together. Where, regardless of background or current situation, everyone can: directly access support; receive assistance connecting with services; attend courses; learn new skills; pop in for a cuppa and a chat or, just be a part of something. Through this we aim to build our community into one we can all be proud of.
