Junior Pathways Court

Our project is designed to benefit each audience within the sport of basketball. This will predominately include U8s and 3x3 basketball - which is a new discipline to the Olympic Games. With the development of a new court, rings, and small courts for our youth age group; we are giving children their own space to grow and develop without the intimidation of a regulation sized basketball court. The courts will be available to use during regular stadium hours by any person who chooses to use these facilities. We will also be re-introducing our U8's basketball league.

The Bendigo community will gain access to a court that is specifically designed for grassroots development as well as a growing discipline in 3x3 basketball. At the moment the opportunities for our organisation to provide those opportunistic programs to the community are limited by the current structure and overall design of our current court. By providing this court we are allowing our youth to start learning the game of basketball and also allowing our Bendigo athletes an opportunity to learn an upcoming Olympic sport.
