Jaypex Park, Nhill - Power and Safety Improvements

Located adjacent to the very busy Western Highway in Nhill, Jaypex Park is regularly used by Nhill organisations and residents for a range of community events and activities, for family gatherings and by travellers as a resting place.
Nhill Lions Club hold monthly community markets and for the market to grow, and meet stall holder demand the number of power outlets need to be increased.
A new skate park is to be built in Jaypex Park and existing overhead power lines will be relocated underground. Appropriate fencing will be installed alongside the roadside to increase safety for all users.

Jaypex Park is considered one of the best rest stops on the highway between Melbourne and Adelaide and is an integral asset for the broader Nhill community for various community and family entertainment events and activities.
The soon to be constructed skate park and picnic shelter will add to the facilities already located there including BBQ’s, picnic tables, playgrounds, soundshell, public toilets, boardwalk and plenty of well-maintained lawn area.
The relocation of overhead power lines, construction of safety fencing and the installation of additional power outlets will significantly increase the safety and usability of the park to all users.
