It Takes A Village - Engage& Active Wyndham Youth

In my years of volunteering and as member of Karen Youth Activity Group Inc I have come across young people that don’t have the financial means or support from family to be able to participate in what they love doing such as sports.
This funding is for the KYAG to provide assistance to individuals or groups with sporting activities that they are engaged in with the right gear and equipment. The referrals will be coming from Wyndham local public schools and youth agencies such as Youth Support & Advocacy Service, Wyndham Youth Services and Whitelion.

This project is an early intervention to help young people engage in sports and prevent them from becoming disengaged and disconnected. It will give young people to have purpose and to be socially connected through their participation in local sports activities. It will also help fund local youth agencies such as YSAS and Wyndham Youth Services with their sport activities and or events and help provide them with volunteers as a way of whole community approach. This fund will help keep Wyndham young people active and connected.
