Intersections- converging fashion, medicine and philanthropy for a cancer-free world

In 2019 our vision is a cancer-free world. This dream is the creative inspiration for a unique artistic production which promises to be an Australian-first across the spheres of fashion and medicine. Each element of the production is specifically designed to create a cohesive yet abstract narrative that unfolds around the audience like a dream. In-house designed/constructed couture will be converged with diverse artforms- sound,music,architectural,technological,holographic-forming an immersive experience that feels like a journey through an alternate reality; an artistic impression of a cancer-free world. This event will be live-streamed nationally to an unlimited virtual audience and attended by 200 guests.

Intersections exists to unite people from all backgrounds in the quest for the common good by creating hope through humanism and art.
The creative director is a medical doctor and fashion designer. Her vision for 2019 is to converge her diverse backgrounds to fight cancer. The goal is to create a nation-wide tidal-wave of hope and solidarity for everyone touched by cancer while raising >$1million for cancer research. There is immense potential for a strong community unification through this unique and creative event- both within the Victorian medical sector and the general public- which itself has powerful positive feed-forward effects.
