Inkrewsive Hip-Hop Unites!

The project is a hip hop arts project for artists living with disability and young people in regional and metro Victoria.

We will bring out Canadian hip hop artist Luca Patuelli to train the crew, then run full day workshops in two regional and two metropolitan communities for young people from diverse social backgrounds.

Each workshop will create a hip hop composition, dance and music video clip. The films will tell the story of inclusion and young people’s voices and be screened in local communities.

Hip-hop workshops will bring people together from different backgrounds and give voice to their aspirations and issues. They will build skills, self confidence and a place in their community.

This project will provide disadvantaged young people including in regional areas access to an international leader who is known for challenging perceptions about disadvantage and disability.

New hip hop songs will foster authentic creative expression, leaving a legacy of leadership and hip-hop skills that will give voice and create participation between all communities. This will activate and inspire recognition in our inherent humanity on a collective level.
