The inaugural Sandringham Festival will run from late morning to late evening on Sunday 3 February 2019. There will be a number of activities throughout the day, including: Food trucks, BBQ, Live music and Kids activities. It is proposed that food and beverage stations would be around the venue. A stage would be on the ground to facilitate live entertainment. Kids activities such as a jumping castle and bubble soccer would also be on the ground. The event would then become an annual one after 2019.

The event is quite unique for the area and will provide entertainment and connect the community. It will also connect the community to the football club and its grounds and function centre at Trevor Barker oval. It will assist the not for profit football club by providing a sustainable revenue source to lessen the reliance on unsustainable revenue streams. We intend to invest all profits made from the event into our inaugural Victorian Football League Women's (VFLW) Team, therefore providing value to the community and the club's members.

Great idea to raise money for a worthy cause, bring the community together and draw people to one of the area’s most loved, but under-utilised assets
