Our project, if successful would be to install:
- a pathway linking the current carving together and extend it around the park for future expansion.
- smart light system to light up the carvings
- seating placed around the pathway
- smartphone technology that would allow the user the learn about the history of the statue at each location.
This would be accessed by all and would encompass a learning environment, a location for physical activity and a place for enjoying some very unique wooden art .
This has the potential for an increase in tourism to the park, which would have a flow effect to the local businesses and the community, as well as providing a place for leisure and learning at the same time. This will also provide an educational tool for local schools and groups as lead up to key memorial dates. ie ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day ect

Great Idea let us remember those before us. After serving our National Service (Sweden) during cold war and other conflicts it is always good to remember those who served in a war that I was fortunate not required.

Great idea as the dawn service ect. has got a much younger crowd some historic facts and lighting is a great idea to make these unique carvings a real feature of the Greensborough area.
