This grant will let the golf club use couch grass, which will improve the playing conditions on the golf course. This will make playing and walking on the course
more enjoyable, for players and the general public who use the golf course for walking.
We welcome the general community to use the golf course at anytime.
On Good Friday we have a Royal Children's Hospital charity day, where members
of the public are encouraged to play. All money made on the day is donated to the
Royal Children's Hospital and in the last ten years we have raised over $20,000.

The Kyneton Golf Club runs golf clinics for juniors, ladies, and the elderly. We encourage all members of the Kyneton area to come and try playing golf. Our members are only to happy to assist those people trying to learn. Just walking the course for exercise to keep fit is an enjoyable experience, as there is an abundance of wildlife, water birds and wild flowers to be seen. If anyone wants a stress free and peaceful walk, please come and explore the Kyneton golf course and you will be surprised by the 137 acres of parkland.
