All users of the Maffra Recreation Reserve will benefit from bitumening the entrence to the facility. It will provide a welcoming appearance and car parking spaces will provide a safer interaction between people and vehicles.
Replacement of goal posts at each end of the football oval

The community and the many users of the Recreation Reserve need a welcoming and neat entrence into their reserve. Car parking, included spaces for the disabled are also required around the social rooms.
Current posts do not comply with AFL requirements (too short) and makes it hard to determine outcome of shots for goal. In order to attract regional games of football, including finals, it is a requirement to have correct sized goal posts

This is such a high traffic area, including heavy traffic such as horse floats, it doesn't take long for the area to disintegrate, particularly after rain, it seems to me it would save a lot of maintenance if it was sealed.

sealing the area would improve access in all weather for everyone who uses the Reserve.

As a member of a user group of this reserve, this is a very necessary upgrade. The Reserve is used extensively with 8 user groups running a variety of events. As well as this 3 other community groups have storage facilities on the Reserve.
The designated car parking issue of the Disabled would be addressed by the sealing of this area

This would be a great benefit for the reserve as when this becomes wet large pot holes develop and turns very muddy . At the moment with no designated car parking for disabled people and other car parking the places are in disarray when there is an event on at the resevee which is quite regular. By sealing the area would make the area more appealling ,safer and require less maintenance.
