The project will target the enhancement of the Leitchville town entrances creating a positive impact on community, the greater region it services and visitors to the town. The east entrance will be improved through works to Trigg Park including upgrades to the watering system and amenities. The west entrance has always been impacted by an unsightly storm water drain which dominates the landscape and has limited other beautification attempts. The provision of underground piping for the storm water and the landscaping of the area will be the primary goal to ensure Leitchville makes an impression.

Leitchville has endured the economic impact of drought and the downturn of the dairy industry and whilst population and businesses have declined the community has recognised the importance of presenting a well kept and inviting township.
The town is attracting an increasing range of visitors, keen to explore the region and this has enabled businesses such as a bakery to expand, employ local youth and improve its overall viability. Council is supporting this sustainability through improvements in the business precinct and Leitchville’s goal is to value add to this investment by continuing to improve the appeal of the township.
