Located within the Hurstbridge Hub, the Community Co-working space will be a mini business hub for local small business owners, freelancers and those tele-commuting, as well as all community members looking for a quiet and well-resourced space in which to work or study.

The co-working space will provide members with access to:
• desk space, access to meeting rooms and ability to book times in a private office
• resources including wifi, printer/photocopier/scanner, desk top computer, video conferencing
• business development training and workshops, networking opportunities and skill share

Community members in this part of Nillumbik Council lack ready access to communal working space, and to high quality printing/photocopying available from office centres. Many community members operate their small business from home, or tele-commute for part of the week. They would benefit greatly from access to a local, well resourced working space where they can build their businesses and engage in a local network. In conversations with locals, it seems there is growing demand for such a space, allowing locals to stay in the community, accessing other local businesses and reducing the need to travel out of the area

Great idea! I’d love a space, not too far from home I can work if I can’t from home for whatever reason.
