Horses healing humans

This project enables community members/groups to reconnect and rebuild their soul, strengthen bonds and understand their own personalities to enable them to flourish and heal as members our community. Available through group participation or one to one for those who feel intimidated in groups. The horses, specially trained and handpicked, respond to honesty and kindness , participants learn to communicate with the horses and the horses respond with love and understanding. Proven to be beneficial to the elderly, especially those suffering from dementia or Alzheimers, PTSD/anxiety sufferers or just horse-addicts. It heals the human soul. The smiles - priceless

The increasing number of elderly in our community and surrounds that are diagnosed suffering from either dementia or Alzheimers, returned veterans suffering PTSD and others suffering from some form of mental illness all deserve to feel like they are a wanted and needed part of their community. Dementia/Alzheimers and mental illness cause deterioration and rifts in family bonds, through this project we can offer families and sufferers quality time that is enjoyable and strenghtens relationships which in turn improves emotional and mental health. Feeling needed and wanted is something all humans deserve and is achievable through the love of horses.
