We would like to build a fitness circuit around our school oval. We want to continue our passion of implementing and promoting mental health through exercising with staff, students and the community. Staff would run this with the view of the students organising circuits. We believe it's vital for our children to have student voice within the community.
This will benefit our community by providing and engaging the whole community. Research says that building connectedness as a school increases the chances of all students improving their academic outcomes. Evidence also suggests that children that build school connectedness decrease their chance of being involved in risky behaviours in their teen years. This will enable everyone to build strong and positive relationships. As a school we believe it is our duty to partner with the community and provide positive opportunities for great mental health and well being.

This would be a fantastic addition to the school and a great initiative by promoting healthy living. As a family we often go to the school on the weekends and use the oval and running track. Fitness equipment would be an asset to the area.
