Great idea for Warrnambool, the Whalers did this for the May Race Carnival and I thought it was fantastic.

The historic clock tower is a prominent Warrnambool landmark and one of State significance. This project will display moving images at night on the clock tower and building. This project will not alter the historical integrity of the building and will include initially a total of five stories that represent this community. The project will add vibrancy, life, colour and vitality to the CBD, which the entire local community and visitors to Warrnambool will enjoy. It is anticipated this project will activate the CBD at night and become the first of many installations.
Currently this landmark building is dark at night time. This Installation will add light and movement to the area at night and will encourage visitation to the CBD. Increased numbers of people also add to the safety and security of the precinct. The CBD has undergone a major renovation over the past two years, which has included some static art works.
The motion, colour and imagery of this project will encourage an increased sense of civic pride and highlight to visitors the changing nature of the arts, cultural and tourism events Warrnambool is famous for.
