The Scout hall is an essential youth community facility hosting 5-25 year olds on a regular basis. The hall is used to support events, meetings, and general fun activities for all members of any background or ability.
Our hall is trapped in a 1970’s time warp and needs a positive shift into the 21st Century.
The Iramoo Scout group needs help to reinvigorate this wonderful hall and ensure that its around for another 40+ years. The grant would support an overdue upgrade of this facility opening up access and support our very rapid growing community group – especially our youth!
Iramoo scout group is situated in a rapid growth corridor within the City of Wyndham. The population forecast is for 141.2% growth between 2018-2041. Given this, plus cultural diversification, investing in our reinvigoration campaign for the Scout Hall will ensure all members of the community can have continued access.
The scout movement is about support and respect of all community values, giving back and ensuring inclusion in all events. At the heart of this is our meeting place – where the mob catch up. Our hall is essential to our pack!

I was shocked to see just how much this asset is used and it definitely requires some assistance in improving it for the current and next generations of cubs, joeys, scouts and venturers.

The girls really need a break, taught there in the summer and it was stifling. These are some of our future female leader! It is time to support them is now.
