E-J's Drill Dance offers marching and dance to people ages 2-adult. Our teams from age 7 compete at national level and this includes travel. Some families even with fundraising can't afford this which prevents some people from joining. We also struggle to transport all members to competitions because of many families not having vehicles. We would like to sponsor members with healthcare/pension cards and also provide a mini bus for members without transport and provide their equipment. Nationals will be in Victoria this year and we would love for all of our teams to attend.
Drill Dance provides fun, friendship and confidence to many members of our community. Our teams represent Bendigo on the National stage and without assistance some families are excluded from this. We would love to provide Drill Dance scholarships to people from our community that otherwise wouldn't be able to take part in activities such as these. Providing confidence and inclusion to children and adults that are excluded from more mainstream sporting teams would boost confidence and a sense of community for our families. Many people want to participate in activities but just can't afford to.
