Located at Tavare Park and Pioneer Park. The project is designed to encourage residents and visitors to play, learn and relax together. Beautifying and enriching.

There will be a sensory garden full of Native plants and also playground equipment designed in the shape of a Bogong Moth, a traditional food for indigenous communities.

Interpretative signage will be included throughout the garden and play space to inform visitors about the cultural significance and environmental function of the Bush Garden elements.

Seating will provide space for quiet reflection and enjoyment, while a large picnic table encourages us to come together.

The project will provide a habitat for flora and fauna. It will strengthen our local ecosystem, our connection to nature and understanding of indigenous culture.

Local residents and visitors will have a place to learn, play and share time together.

The sensory garden will create an immersive space where people can explore Native plants through touch, taste and smell, sight and sound. It will increase biodiversity, and environmental resilience.

The sculptural playground equipment will enhance opportunities for physical development in younger visitors as well as being visually beautiful and informative.

The more natural and native settings we can add to our built environment the better. It's good for the community, and the local wildlife. Hopefully it will be accessible to everyone, including those with a disability.
There is nothing like being able to enjoy the natural environment for inspiration.

As a past visitor and recent resident of the Alpine Shore I support activities and locations which feature indigenous Flora and fauna. This will provide a balance to the picturesque Euopean plantings in the area.
