Happily Ever After

The Happily Ever After is a six-week multimedia seminar series to build relationship skills. The seminars will combine ancient Jewish relationship wisdom and modern psychology.

It will be held in the City of Glen Eira, and will be open to all adults in or looking for a long-term relationship, regardless of their religious affiliation or sexual orientation.

The topics covered include:
- Finding the right person and being the right person
- Love and romance
- Expectations
- Commitment
- Communication and Managing Conflict

More than 60 percent of marriages end within the first ten years (ABS 2009). These unsuccessful relationships cause emotional, psychological and financial damage to individuals, families and our community.

Our seminar is based on Bliss, a seminar the US Government Healthy Marriages Initiative sponsored because it was proven to be effective in reducing divorce community-wide.

Building the skills for stronger long-term relationships — be they de-facto or marriage — will strengthen the personal relationships of our attendees, reduce triggers for mental health issues, create healthier families and work cultures, and create a more tolerant, respectful and friendly Glen Eira community.
