Cross generational tribute to one of Ballarat's most important and iconic songwriters Justin Happy Hayward, involving over 35 local musicians aged from 21 to 67.
Through his work creating songs & music with local band Dead Salesmen & others, Justin has touched several generations of local music lovers with his heartfelt & sensitive songwriting dealing with identity and isolation for 30 years.
Project intends to create two 3 hour concerts at Ballaarat Mechanics Institute Theatre.
Event is to be recorded for CD/DVD fundraising activities.
Ticket & CD proceeds donated to youth Mental Health programs with Headspace Ballarat.

This celebration will assist positive mental health outcomes in our community, bring several hundred audience and performers together across several generations.
Justin's involvement in local performance has inspired several generations of local musicians and the project aligns with City of Ballarat's Live Music Strategy to support our local music scene and encourage new and old musicians alike to participate and celebrate social inclusion through music, arts and culture.
The intended outcome of ticket sales from the concerts and CD/DVD release for the project will raise funds for local mental health group Headspace to run songwriting workshops and positive activities.
